Paul Allen BA, BPE, M. Ed is a retired Ontario High School teacher who taught Physical Education, Health, History, Business, and Canadian Law courses at the secondary school level for 32 years.
A high school graduate of Chatham Colleigate Institute (CCI), he graduated from Assumption University of Windsor, McMaster University, and Wayne State University. He began his teaching career in Petrolia, Ontario at Lambton Central Colleigate (1965-1984) and completed his career at Sharbot Lake High School in 2002. He served as an Assistant Principal at a private school in Boca Raton, Florida, and also worked as a consultant for the United States Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education in Washington, DC.
Paul's family roots connect him to North Carolina where he still has family in Creedmoor and Granville County. He has extensively researched the subject matter of this story and has drawn on his writing experience as a former sportswriter for Assumption Uni-versity of Windsor, and as a past columnist and writer with the Till-sonburg News.
